I firmly believe she poses a threat and danger to the other contestants on the show, especially Megan, who's Chinese, and Lara and Ezrela, who are Indian. Samara does not deserve to debut in Dream Academy and should leave the show ASAP. It is disheartening that Hybe did not care to background check the contestants; this information was easily, discoverable. They should have been aware of Samara's controversial beliefs and shouldn't have allowed her to participate in their survival show. On the other hand, I am grateful that Hybe allowed the contestants to use their social media accounts, which revealed Samara's true character. I am afraid that Hybe may have been aware of Samara's problematic views and chose to ignore them, potentially allowing her to gain support and debut. I am scared Samara won't face any consequences for being this problematic. Being racist, Islamophobic, a Zionist, a radical Christian, and holding extreme right-wing views, should indeed be reasons for scrutiny, but sadly, many politicians, successful, famous, and rich people, etc., with similar beliefs have flourishing careers around the world. Also, it seems like a lot of people only don't care Samara's a bigot. It's important to remember that Dream Academy's group will be based in the USA, and the US has a pro-Israel stance. This may increase the chances of Samara continuing to have a successful career after this "scandal." Nevertheless, we must advocate for Samara to leave Dream Academy and for accountability to ensure that problematic beliefs and actions do not go unchecked. This scandal is a great reminder that we really don’t know shit about our favorite people we see online. We only know what fragments and pieces they put together from social media.
