Thankfully race 2 was dry. There were 17 cars on the grid and I started in 12th, gaining a place off the start, accidentally kissed the back of AC/DC Rock Legend Brian Johnson's red Austin Cooper S into the first corner (sorry Brian), then lots of curb for the next two bends followed by the drag race up to Tower Bend where my throttle got stuck wide open and I had to shut it down. I installed a fantastic CSP throttle linkage only days earlier which is much smoother than my old hex-bar linkage but clearly I need to re-route the throttle cable conduit before the next race.
