The Smurfs and the Magic Flute - Going to Smurfland Another classic animated movie that I remember watching on the Canadian TV channel we had back in the 80s. This scene in particular, is rather trippy and fascinating for me to watch as a kid. There are a couple versions of this film out there, since it was originally released in France and Europe in 1976. That version was dubbed for English audiences but wasn't distributed widely throughout America. Then in 1983 a re-dubbed English version was released in the United States, which is highlighted here.
