The Catch Up - Results of a Weather Change

Sequel to the video “Cold Spring” of 16th May, when many of us were despairing at such a slow start to the season. Amazing transformations! Mainly since a weather change following full moon of 26th May. Daytime temperatures in the 19 days since then averaged 21C 70F, above average, and sunshine has been good, with only 2mm/0.08in rain in that period. See my website for details https://charlesdowding.co.uk/ and learn from my online courses. Harvests here in mid June are beetroot, broad beans, cabbage, calabrese (broccoli), carrots, cauliflower, lettuce, peas, pea shoots, rhubarb, salad onions, sorrel. Purple sprouting broccoli finished and now (18th June) is time to sow it again. Many of the vegetables are eaten on course days here, coked/prepared by Kate Forrester. The harvests are also appreciated by friends, family, neighbours. And rabbits who practice pick your own. Sales are over £20,000 per annum. Filmed and edited by Edward Dowding my son, https://edowdingfilms.onfabrik.com/po... Join this channel for insider videos every month    / @charlesdowding1nodig
