And, we heard a blast and we were only around 30 metres (98 feet) away from the place of the actual explosion." 11. Ambulance driving towards hospital 12. Press STORYLINE: A female suicide bomber set off an explosion outside the National Hotel across from Moscow's Red Square on Tuesday. Six people were killed in the blast and at least 12 others were injured. Four Moscow hospitals took in the victims of Tuesday's explosion. Tatyana Filyanova and her father were 30 metres (98 feet) away from the area of the explosion. Filyanova's father was taken to the Moscow hospital number 31 where he went into surgery. Filyanova said that right after the blast there was glass on the ground and several dead bodies. United States (US) Ambassador to Russia Alexander Vershbow condemned the terrorist act. According to Vershbow, no US citizens were hurt in the blast.
