Vehicular homicide suspect released on $30,000 bond after deadly stunt driving incident

A Tennessee woman is facing serious charges after another woman died while "vehicle surfing" on her car back in April. Metro Nashville Police Department reports Ashley Sells, 31, was doing donuts while her friend laid on the hood of her vehicle. Video shows Shannon Kilgore, 31, falling off the vehicle during the "dangerous driving stunt." Her skull was fractured, and she died in the hospital two days later. Sells and the passenger in the vehicle told law enforcement Kilgore "randomly blacked out during a girls’ night" when questioned. The deadly incident occurred early in the morning on April 26. Sells is charged with vehicular homicide and false reporting. She was arrested overnight, and is now out on a $30,000 bond.
