Piping Succulents with Soap 🌵 Cold Process Soap Making // Piping Soap Recipe and Techniques

Piping soap is not only a lot of fun, it's a great way to create unique embellishments for your soap creations or simply use up leftover soap batter. The key to piping soap is the batter's consistency (how thick it is). Too soft and it won't hold it's shape. Too thick and you won't be able to push it through a piping tip. I like to mix my soap to just past emulsion, then I fill the piping bag and let it sit until the batter firms up – this gives me the greatest flexibility and longest work time. You can use any soap recipe to pipe with, however I find I get the best results with recipes that are rich in butters like shea, cocoa and mango.
