33-yo mother charged for performing and recording pornography involving her underaged children

A 33-year-old mother and her friend were charged at the Sessions Court, here, today for performing sexual acts and filming pornography on her underaged children last year. The mother, who appeared unrepresented, pleaded not guilty to three charges of performing sexual acts on her two children who were 12 and 14 years old at the time of the offence. The mother of five claimed trial to the charges before Sessions Court judge Syafeera Mohd Said this morning. She was accused of committing the offences at their house in Puncak Alam in the district of Kuala Selangor in November last year. The charges were framed under Section 14(a) and 14(b) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 which are read together with Section 16(1) of the same Act.
