How to Get a Totem of Undying in Minecraft

If you want to become effectively immortal in your Minecraft survival world, you need a Totem of Undying. This is the only item in the game that literally lets you cheat death, but you cannot craft it. You have to forcibly take it from an Evoker. Evokers are the spell-casting Illagers that summon Vexes, but they have a massive upside: they have a 100% drop rate for Totems. You have two ways to find them. The hard way is searching for a Woodland Mansion in a Dark Forest biome. These are rare and often thousands of blocks away. The easier, farmable method is to start a Raid. First, track down a Pillager Outpost or a Trial Chamber to find an Ominous Bottle. Drink it to gain the Bad Omen effect. Once you have the effect, simply walk into any Village to trigger the raid. Fight off the waves of Illagers until the Evokers spawn. Once you kill them, the Totem is yours.
