Canadiens get dominated 6-0 by the Pittsburgh Penguins | Habs 2021-22 Season | Episode 19

The Montreal Canadiens played tonight at home in the Bell Centre against the newly bought Pittsburgh Penguins and would end up getting shutout by a final score of 6-0 in regulation with a 24 save shutout by Tristian Jarry for his 8th career shutout. In the 1st period things would go wrong for the Habs just 3 minutes into the game when Sidney Crosby scored, followed up by Danton Heinen and in the final minute a goal by Jake Guentzel for the 3-0 lead after 20. In the 2nd period goals from Teddy Blueger and Brian Dumoulin would give the Penguins a 5-0 lead into the 3rd period. The only goal in the 3rd period with now Samuel Montembeault in net replacing Cayden Primeau would be Teddy Blueger's 2nd of the game with just 10 seconds left to seal the deal with a 6-0 victory in regulation.
