Hong Kong media tycoon Jimmy Lai and several of his executives have launched legal action against the police. They are demanding the return of documents seized during a raid of Apple Daily's offices. Mr Lai and his staff are seeking a court order for the police to hand back journalistic material and other documents not covered by the search warrant. The police had collected about 30 boxes of evidence during a high-profile raid of the newspaper's headquarters.
