Testing the discontinued Dyson OS (didn't work) - GNU+illumos

In this video I install the dyson os. It's a cancelled project, and I could not get the package manager to work at all to install a desktop environment. I tried numerous ways to get the package manager to install software after ending this video, but could not get it to work. I don't recommend using this OS. Dyson uses the illumos kernel derived from OpenSolaris which was combined with the Debian GNU operating system to basically make an unofficial Debian GNU/illumos distribution, similar to Debian GNU/kFreeBSD. Dyson was never recognized by the Debian developers and is under a different name but one could consider Dyson to be a spiritual variation of the Debian system among the other ones: Debian GNU/Linux Debian GNU/Hurd Debian GNU/kFreeBSD If you want to use an OpenSolaris based operating system I recommend using OpenIndiana, or if you want to use Debian just go for Debian GNU/Linux. The merging of the two is a very interesting concept but seems to have failed unfortunately.
