4Wheel Fridays - Revell '41 Chevy Pickup - Ep. 2

Welcome back to 4Wheel Fridays and Chevy Truck Month! We are back on our 1/25th scale 1941 Chevy Pickup and I can't wait to see how this unfolds. Today we are going to focus on the engine and the truck frame. I'm also planning on panting the engine with a base coat of Vallejo Engine Grey. I'm not sure if it is 100% accurate, but I love it anyway. To be honest, I'm not sure how much attention I'll be ultimately paying to the engine. As much as I would LOVE to super detail that entire area, for my 1st time out of the gate I was planning on keeping the hood closed. If I was more adventurous, I'd detail the engine up, do a bit of kit surgery and open one side of the hood to show it off. Unfortunately, I'm not that comfortable with cars/truck yet, I also don't have a lot of time to get this kit finished. I only have 1 month, so three more updates to go.
