And let me ask you something. Have you ever seen something that looks like this? Or maybe this? Well, being a professional mold inspector by trade, I've seen my fair share of mold. What you just saw a picture of is what the media refers to as black toxic mold. If you have this in your home, you need to watch this entire video. In this video, I'm going to reveal to you how to kill black mold. I'm also going to reveal one of the biggest kept secrets in the entire mold industry. And if you really miss out on the secret, it could cost you thousands of dollars and affect your health. So keep watching. The best way you can kill mold number one is killing the moisture source. You see, mold needs three things to grow. It needs moisture, it needs humidity, and it needs something for it to grow on. A nutrient such as drywall, wood, anything porous for it to grow on. If you take out one of those three ingredients, then mold can't grow. Now, if you want to kill mold at the source, you can also get yourself something called a biocide or another antimicrobial agent. I recommend getting vital oxide or conrobium. You can get conrobium right at Home Depot or your local hardware store. Whereas vital oxide, you may need to special order it online. Now, if those aren't available to you, you can also get traditional cleaners. But don't use bleach because bleach does not kill mold. That is an urban legend. Here are three solutions you might already have in your house that you can go ahead to use to kill black mold. Number one is going to be white distilled vinegar. Now, vinegar is a mild acid that will generally kill 82% of mold species. Now, mixing baking soda into the vinegar can usually kill black mold. So go ahead and combine those two in a spray bottle. Number two is going to be 3% hydrogen peroxide. Now just take the hydrogen peroxide and mix it with water and it will kill the mold spores and its roots. The third solution you can use to kill black mold would be mixing one cup of borax with one cup of water in a spray bottle. Borax is natural and it has antimicrobial quality. Okay, so now that you have your solutions that kill black mold, I am going to keep my promise and I'm going to reveal to you one of the biggest kept secrets in the mold industry in regards to black mold. While these solutions will kill black mold, killing black mold is not the answer. You actually need to remove black mold. And it should be done by a licensed mold professional. When we are talking about black mold, we are talking about a certain species of mold called stacky botrus. Now, stacky botras produces what is called mycotoxins and that can affect your health. If you have black mold in your house, it needs to be removed. You can't just kill it. Dead mold and living mold can affect your health just as much. So if you're applying any type of cleaning agent to it and scrubbing it, you may be doing your family more harm than good. Bottom line is this, if you have black mold in your home, it needs to be removed. Period. Now your first thought might be to go hire a licensed mold professional. That may be very expensive, but what I did was I created my own personal checklist that I use as a licensed mold inspector to determine how bad of a mold problem you have. You could get this free checklist by clicking the link below and then you can get started determining whether or not you need to hire a professional mold remediation specialist.
