Mixer Shutdown - Long live YOUTUBE?

Mixer is OVER - Mixer Shutdown Microsoft's streaming platform Mixer has finally kicked the bucket after being bought out by Facebook gaming. They plan to shut down next month and move all of their users over to Facebook gaming where streamers who were affiliated with Mixer can continue to monetize their content. If you don't know much about Mixer, they WERE one of the big competitors in the live streaming industry and had in my opinion the best technical features with sub-second latency, TONS of interactivity and a lot of other unique ideas. However due to poor management and terrible marketing, they are finally (as predicted by many) finally shutting down and that is very sad. However! This now pits the fight in my opinion between YouTube itself and Twitch for the best streaming platform. While many people stream to Facebook, it is not the go to platform for gaming and it certainly hasn't produced many notable streamers (correct me if I am wrong). It certainly does still hold a really valid option for those hoping to make a living off of streaming but not those wanting a shot at the very top level of game streaming like Ninja, Shroud or Summit. This is big industry changing news and I would LOVE to have a discussion about this in the comments OR on twitter @FuncleRyan so don't hesitate to tell me your thoughts cause I really wanna know the consensus on all of this Let me know your thoughts in the comments and OF COURSE SUBSCRIBE for more content.
