Welcome to the first episode of the Gimme Fiction podcast. I’m settling into my little place in North Loop, sipping hot tea, fighting off the tail end of a bug, and finally carving out time to talk about the stuff I love. Movies. Filmmaking. The simple (sometimes) life of a film lover who runs a small creative studio and makes fun personal work on the side. This episode is basically me catching you up on everything. And of course, the new movies I’ve been watching. It’s a long list. Some I adored. Some I tolerated. Some made me want to sink into my seat in frustration. I talk about all of it. We get into the joy of Rose Byrne in If I Had Legs, I'd Kick You. We get into the disappointment of a flat and strangely empty Frankenstein.
