6.8-magnitude China earthquake death toll rises to 66

The death toll from a massive earthquake devastated China's southwestern Sichuan province Monday rose to at least 66. Fox News reports. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said the 6.6-magnitude quake struck just southwest of Sichuan's capital Chengdu around 1 p.m. local time. The epicenter was located about 27 miles southeast of the city Kangding. People Magazine reports. So far 248 injuries have been reported and at least 12 people remain missing, according to state media.
