Avian vet talks about danger to raptors of lead from ammunition

Veterinarian Vickie Joseph spoke at a Sacramento press conference in April about the dangers that lead from ammunition pose for eagles and other raptors. Audubon California, along with the Humane Society of the Unites States and Defenders of Wildlife, are sponsoring Assembly Bill 711, which will require the use of nonlead ammunition for all hunting in California.
