🎄 Last Ride of 2025 on the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 🎄 For my final ride of the year, I joined the Cheshire Royal Enfield Owners Club for a group ride from Lymm to North Wales, taking in a bit of Chester on route to Mold. This ride was all about enjoying the journey – relaxed miles with good company, and Royal Enfield vibes aplenty. We stopped off at The Old Stores for a proper bite and a brew ☕ before continuing onto some truly stunning North Wales roads courtesty of Calimoto. Scenic, flowing and perfect for soaking in the moment... with one or two 'twitchy backside' moments for both Fern and I alike 😄 It was great to see a substantial group brave the cold and such a great mix of bikes on the ride - includring Royal Enfield Interceptors, Himalayan 411s, and Meteor 350s, all enjoying the same roads in their own way. The group was confidently (but confusingly) led by a Triumph Speed 900.. go figure! My Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 (Fern 🌿) is now ready for her first service, making this a fitting way to close out the riding year. Some chat about the pro's and con's of the Shotgun so far and changes to come as we ride, but no review, no hard riding – just a calm, scenic group ride with fellow Enfield owners and some beautiful Welsh scenery.
