New Footscray Hospital - Construction recap

We’re nearing the halfway mark of construction on the new Footscray Hospital – one of the state’s biggest ever health infrastructure projects. The new hospital has come a long way since we began construction, with over 360,000 cubic metres of rock and soil excavated, and over 300 concrete slabs poured. On track to open its doors in 2025, more than 600 workers are now onsite delivering this once-in-a-generation project for communities in Melbourne’s west. Read more: https://go.vic.gov.au/3JvTJJD
