SOUNDBITE: (Arabic) Nizar Rayan, Hamas lawmaker: " Leaders of the two movements, with God's help, agreed on a cease-fire, procedures on the ground are being discussed now, we will have a meeting in the next few hours in order to confirm the implementation of the ceasefire on the ground." 6. SOUNDBITE: (Arabic) Abdel Hakim Awad, Fatah spokesman: " We have the intention to make efforts in order to assure a cease-fire, meetings will continue today again so as to find the suitable mechanism for that." 8. Lawmaker leaving STORYLINE: Leaders of Hamas and Fatah said on Friday they had agreed in principle to a new cease-fire, but needed more meetings to work out the details of a pullback of forces, who were battling in the streets with mortar shells, rockets and heavy guns. The deal was announced after a meeting at the Egyptian embassy. " We will have a meeting in the next few hours in order to confirm the implementation of a ceasefire on the ground", said Nizar Rayan, a regional Hamas leader, after the meeting. A Fatah spokesman, Abdel Hakim Awad, confirmed an agreement was reached in principle. An earlier truce unravelled after just two days and heavy fighting between the two factions throughout the Gaza Strip killed a total of 22 and wounded 245 since Thursday afternoon.
