Surviving 12-Hour Shifts as a Nurse or Nursing Student in Clinicals #shorts

Working 12-hour shifts as a nurse or during nursing school clinicals as a nursing student...how do you survive? Is working 12-hours hard? This is a common question people have about 12-hour shifts. First, not all nursing facilities work in 12-hour shifts. However, 12-hour shifts are common in many hospitals and during nursing school clinicals. Is it bad working 12 hours? When I first started, I was worried about working 12-hour shifts. It definitely took some time for my body to adapt. Over time, my body did adapt a lot, though you can still get tired or sore. The great thing about working 12-hour shifts is that you get your hours in quicker, as many nurses only work 3-4 days a week. The downside is that you are there a LONG time. Thankfully, you are so busy as a nurse that the 12 hours do often fly by. Here's my suggestion: pack snacks, stay hydrated, get comfy shoes, and wear good compression stockings. #nurse #shorts #nursing Website: https://www.registerednursern.com/ More Videos:    • Dopamine IV Drip Calculation & Nursin...   Nursing Gear: https://teespring.com/stores/register...
