Some people think goals scored between the legs (five-hole) are lucky goals. Others think they are skillful goals. One thing is for sure - they look nice when they go in. When they don't, the player can look really bad, so it's definitely a risk that they take when they go for these types of shots. In this clip, 2 goals (by Kopitar & Kunitz) are scored by the "can opener" move where the goalie's legs are opened and the puck is shot between them. The goal by Letang is similar but goes beneath the goalie's arm (you can see at the 1:12 mark that the goalie almost stops it). All 3 are similar in that there was a very slim margin for error but the player capitalized.
