Redpolls at Thickson Point

A large flighty flock of redpolls with one frosty exilipes Hoary and at least two rostrata Greater Common Redpolls fed on seeds from the plant, Lamb's Quarters, a favourite redpoll food. The Greaters were obviously larger, browner and more heavily streaked compared to the smaller flammea Common Redpolls. Thickson Point, Whitby, Ontario on 22 January 2021.
