Lesson To be rewarded by God, we must do things His way. The only way that the things that the Lord has promised us will be fulfilled is through our faith in Him. If we don't have faith, we have doubt. The enemy plants anxiousness, fear, worry, and doubt to try and steal our knowing of what God has promised us so that, ultimately, this steals our faith. Don't be ignorant of Satan's schemes. If you have been anxious, fearful, a worrier, and a doubter, think about why! It is because you are trying to fulfill something on your own. That’s not what faith is. I used to live life like this. I just expected things to go wrong. When I truly submitted my life to Jesus Christ, I stopped thinking, talking, and living like that. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Having faith in God through Jesus Christ makes His promises come to pass in our lives. When we have faith, we will apply the written and revealed word and do the work that matches our faith. Whatever we go through in life, know that God ordains or allows it; don't let the enemy steal our faith. Without faith, we can't please God; if we don't please Him, we aren't living for Him; in fact, we are living for the world and to please our flesh. This isn't good! Repent and get on His path! He will make it right and plant us where we belong when we believe! Get in the will of God and stay there. If we are ever found outside of God’s will and participating in anything against Him, we must confess it, forsake it, and repent. Fear the Lord. Put your faith in Jesus Christ. Receive the Holy Spirit and live to do the will of God.
