Mt Mortar - Pokemon Heart Gold Randomizer Nuzlocke Ep 17

Welcome to my Playthrough of Pokemon Heart Gold Randomizer Nuzlocke, my first ever Nuzlocke, will I complete the game or will I fail and fall to the randomized Pokemon in the game. Tune in to find out! Full Playlist Here:    • My First Ever Nuzlocke - Heart Gold Ranzom...   Nuzlocke Rules 1. The Nuzlocke Officially starts and the below rules come into effect when owning both a Pokedex and Pokeballs 2. If a Pokemon Faints it's considered gone. I must place it into the fainted box in my PC for memories sake of how hard that Pokemon worked to get me to where I am. Doesn't Matter if it faints to Poison or when I'm grinding my mons. Faint = Gone. Period! That's the whole point of a Nuzlocke. 3. The Pokemon first encountered on a new route must either be captured or defeated or ran from, if a pokemon is captured or defeated or fled from you cannot get another Pokemon from this route. Exceptions: Dupe Clause/Family Tree: If I already own the pokemon encountered on a new route I can choose to reroll to find something else on that route. Likewise If I own a Pokemon in that family tree (for example I own a Nidorino, if I see a Nidoking or Nidoran Male, I can choose to skip that encounter and reroll for another Pokemon on that same route.) Shiny/Gift Pokemon: If I encounter a shiny or get given a pokemon I am allowed to capture it and use it, Shinies are rediculously rare so getting the ability to use my shiny epic pokemon is what many trainers look forward to in Pokemon and something Highly sought after, I should be able to capture it and use it, regardless if I caught a pokemon on that route or not. Surely you'll let me have this. Have a heart. Named Locations: If I'm on Route 31 for example and there's Dark Cave connected to the route that is classed as a seperate location. So I can catch a pokemon in Dark Cave. But catching a pokemon here does not mean I can go to another Route with another entrance to Dark Cave and catch another Pokemon. I only get another encounter if it has a different name to the one I captured in. 4. Team Limit: Once I own 6 Pokemon, this will come into effect, No more than 1 Type. If I have a water pokemon on my team, I cannot add another onto my team unless I replace that Pokemon with another or it faints. Exceptions: If I have a duo typing Pokemon, I am only limited by the first type of that Pokemon. (For example: I own a Kingdra who's typing is Water/Dragon, Therefore the water type slot on my team is taken, but the secondary typing Dragon doesn't come into affect so I can have a Garchomp on my team due to it's first typing primarily being Dragon. 5. Items are allowed when capturing Pokemon. Its my first Nuzlocke so please respect this on this occasion. However healing items in Gyms/elite four can only be used if they also use Heals. 6. No Cheating by using codes to spawn items in or mess with exp values, change encounters etc, Nuzlockes are meant to be a challenge and while yes I could use rare candies to speed up my time and shorten the length of a video, it's still cheating by spawing them in using codes and there's always the chance I could have a pokemon faint during it's grind up in levels so removing that is basically making it easier for me. 7. It's not over till it's over: In order to beat this Nuzlocke I must beat Trainer Red who is the final obstacle. I must get all 8 Kanto and Johto Badges and beat the leader's rematch teams and beat the Elite Four a second time after getting the 8 Kanto Badges. 8. No overleveling and excessive grinding above Gym Leader's Teams. This is something I must keep ontop of, their Ace is the level cap. If say a Gym Leader's Ace is 33. I cannot use a mon that has surpassed them by a varied Amount, if my Pokemon levels up in the Gym it's different. Also if it's only by 1-2 levels max I may also allow my mon to be used but only if it is the only 1 that is by that amount. If my whole team is like that, I have to train up some new mons to use to fight the gym leader instead. It's a challenge after all. Can't make it too easy. 9. If I lose all my pokemon it's game over! If all my pokemon faint during a battle and are dead and I have no Pokemon left in my PC that are still alive I lost, too bad suck it up, I failed and it's all my fault. Better luck next time. That's how Nuzlockes work. If I want to try again I must start from the beginning of the game. 10. I'm allowed a HM Pokemon for the sake of progression to prevent softlocks, I cannot use it in battle it is purely for the sake of overcoming obstacles that would overwise prevent progression. Seeing as the game gives you no other means of dealing with these through items except HMs Discord:   / discord   Twitch: www.twitch.tv/modgaminyt #pokemon #pokémon #pokemoncommunity #randomizernuzlocke #pokemonbattles #heartgoldsoulsilver #MODGAMINYT #heartgold
