February 12, 2000 - Just prior to his historic 2000 Dunk Contest performance, Toronto Raptors guard Vince Carter waxed ecstatic about all dunkers who came before him, ranging from the legends (Michael Jordan) to the lesser knowns (Jamie Watson). His understanding and praise seemed to suggest Carter approached dunking as an artform, not merely a basketball happenstance.
