GCSE History Rapid Revision: The Gold Rush and Law and Order

This Rapid Revision session looks at the the nature of the Gold Rush, mass migration to California and how the lifestyle and rights of prospectors led to problems of law and order. Could Federal authorities restore order, or would vigilantes take the law into their own hands? This revision video is designed to support the Edexcel/Pearson GCSE specification, but will probably support other specifications too!
