Paving his way into the music industry, T-Buiz isn’t just another rapper. His versatile lyrics on topics from politics, to struggles, to love, make him relatable, all while giving you a sound you can groove to. “My music is real. Real situations and fun experiences people can enjoy.” Growing Up, T-Buiz was heavily involved in the Bay Area music scene. He received training in sound engineering from the Expression College for Digital Arts, where he mastered mixing and learned production. He then landed a gig as an engineer at Clear Channel Radio. During his time there, he became a street team promoter for local radio stations Wild 94.9 and 106.1 KMEL, providing him the chance to develop his knowledge of promotions and the music industry. It was through that opportunity he met and interacted with prominent celebrities like Bow Wow, Ludacris, and Ciara, among others. After making the decision to become an entertainer, T-Buiz linked up with his friend “Shamrocc” and formed the rap group “Free Agentz". The group self-produced their first album “Business B4 Pleasure” in 2004, which sold many copies and gained regular rotation in popular night clubs, all after the group’s own promotion and distribution tactics succeeded. But soon enough, T-Buiz made the jump into going solo.
