This week I'm cooking - BAGOONG AND EGGS FRIED RICE - (TOASTED SHRIMP PASTE AND EGG FRIED RICE) Prep time: 10 minutes Cooking time: Serves: 2 3 tbsp olive oil 5 cloves garlic, minced 1 1/2 tbsp shrimp paste (cooked) 2 eggs beaten 2 cups steamed rice salt and pepper 1 can "cooked" chicken, brine removed 1 can "cooked" quail" eggs, brine removed 1/2 cup chopped fresh herbs - i use cilantro leaves Pre heat pan and oil cook garlic for 30 seconds. add shrimp paste and cook for a minute add beaten eggs and cook for 30 seconds. add rice and cook for 2 minutes add chicken and cook fro 2 minutes add eggs and cook for a minute add chopped herbs.
