Pakistan is expected to receive another major relief as petroleum prices may drop once again starting 16 January. Officials indicate the fourth consecutive reduction, with petrol expected to decrease by Rs 4.59 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs 2.70 per litre. Kerosene and light diesel are also likely to see further cuts. Earlier, on 1 January 2026, petrol prices were slashed by Rs 10.28 and diesel by Rs 8.57, marking a strong start to the new year. This new expected reduction could bring even more financial ease for citizens across the country.
