In Biology we define cellular communication as a mechanism by which cells of an organism interact with each other to carry out cellular functions. The principle of cellular communication is based on three processes : 1.RECEPTION 2.TRANSDUCTION 3.RESPONSE. Above three processes constitute a pathway by which a cell is able to install a communication. This communication alters certain processes within a target cell.Mainly a target cell ( signal receiving cell ) directs this signal towards Nucleus which is the CPU of a cell if we draw an analogy. In nucleus it activates or deactivates target genes which in-turn alters cellular functions.
