PSA: Please don't tailgate me while I drive through the tollbooth. Thank you! #shorts

Some people truly do need to re-learn how to drive safely... for the SECOND time in one day, someone was driving at excessive speeds and following at a very unsafe distance as I tried to pay the toll, and this time, they also illegally passed me after the tollbooth as the two lanes (one of which is closed) were merging together. Like, really, what's so hard to understand about "15 MPH" and "STAY IN YOUR LANE" (solid white line)? I genuinely hope it only accepted his I-PASS transponder for the two of us, which would result in him getting double-charged and me not having to pay anything (wishful thinking, though). If anything, he could receive a violation for driving through the tollbooth unsafely and for non-payment (if his transponder was not read correctly AND his license plate number was not captured by the camera). Again, wishful thinking. This was recorded as I was merging onto I-355 South from Roosevelt Rd/IL-38 East in Glenn Ellyn/Lombard, IL. PLEASE... be safe out there! Fun fact: in Illinois, one way you can tell that you're on a toll road operated by the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (A.K.A. the Illinois Tollway) is that their roads have longer than usual white lines separating each lane. These are very similar to, if not the same as, the lines on the Indiana Toll Road and New Jersey Turnpike. This does NOT apply to the Chicago Skyway, as it is owned by the City of Chicago and leased by the Skyway Concessions Company, and NOT operated by the Illinois Tollway.
