Howdy One-Step played by Earl Fuller's Rector Novelty Orchestra 1918

Here is the original 1915 Phonograph Dancing Toy, Mr. Ragtime Rastus, dancing to the Howdy One-Step played by Earl Fuller's Rector Novelty Orchestra from August of 1918. The Phonograph is a Pathe Solophone 125 from the same era. The Pathe Solophone 125 could play both Vertical and Lateral Groove records simply by changing the setting of the reproducer and changing the stylus. It also has a very unusual volume or tone control, that adjusts the volume through a rotating baffle located in the neck of the base of the Tone arm. The Ragtime Rastus Dancing Photograph Toy dates to 1915.
