Met Office warns Scotland will 'bear the brunt of Storm Babet' as rare red warning issued

Met Office Meteorologist Alex Deakin warns of a rare red weather warning for parts of Scotland as Storm Babet is expected to batter the UK on Thursday. The Met Office has warned that torrential rainfall, which could exceed 250mm in just a few days, may pose a "danger to life" as it could result in deep, fast-flowing flood water and "extensive" damage to homes and buildings.
