The Hidden Tree | Virtual Production | LED Wall Presenting The Hidden Tree, my final MSc Virtual Production project at Nottingham Trent University — and my first time shooting on an LED wall! This showreel represents my journey of blending real-time environment design in Unreal Engine 5 with live compositing and LED volume techniques. The mystical digital set features a glowing tree nestled within high cave walls, surrounded by water and sunlight that reflects on a divine statue. Technical Notes: While shooting on the LED wall, I faced several real-world production challenges. The environment was heavy in size and detail, which caused rendering issues during projection. Some materials didn’t render correctly due to hardware limitations in the studio system — but it was a valuable learning experience in adapting real-time scenes to physical production spaces.
