The Batman: Arkham series follows Batman's intense psychological battles with Gotham's villains, primarily the Joker, across key nights: Arkham Asylum (Joker takes over the asylum), Arkham City(a walled-off Gotham district becomes a supervillain battleground), Arkham Origins (a younger Batman faces assassins on Christmas Eve), and Arkham Knight (Scarecrow unites villains to break Batman, culminating in a psychological war where Joker's influence infects Batman's mind. The First game in the series is inspired by Grant Morrison and Dave Mckean’s Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On A Serious House in 1989. The Game reunites the legendary trio from Batman the Animated Series of the late Kevin Conroy (Batman) , Arleen Sorkin (Harley Quinn) and of course the legendary Mark Hamill (The Joker).
