I’ve heard many Christians say we ought to hate sins but love the sinner. This is a washed up saying because in the end it is not sins without the sinner in hell it is actually the sinners who are in hell because of their sin. In other words God will not say to you on that final day, “I'm just going to send your sins to hell, and you come with Me, I'll let you into my kingdom. I'm going to pass judgement on your sins, but you come into My eternal Kingdom.” That's not the way it works. You can't separate a sinner from his sin. But a sinner can repent. And if you call on Jesus, if you ask Him to take away your sin He will take away your sins. He will wash you clean. Jesus doesn't wish anyone goes to hell. He doesn't wish anyone is lost, but that everyone repent and that everyone becomes pure and holy. It is the righteous who will inherit eternal life not the sinners. God hates sins and He hates sinners. That is why He sent His Son to die for us. That we would no longer be sinners, but that we would be righteous. Are you a past sinner? Are you an ex-sinner? Are you now righteous? Or are you currently in sin? Because there is no way you will enter into the kingdom of God with sin in your life. Don't buy the lie of the Christians that God will just hate your sin, and he will cast judgement on your sin, without casting His judgement up on you. It is not sins that are in hell without the sinners. It is the sinners that are in hell. Pray and receive the Holy Spirit, become holy by the power of Jesus. He came to set you free from your sins because He loves you. But unless you choose to go with Him and repent you will by no means inherit eternal life. May the grace of Jesus be with you.
