This time, Lady Gaga steps into the iconic role of Harley Quinn. While the first Joker film set a high bar with its gritty storytelling, I found that the musical format of Folie à Deux detracted from the experience. I’ll dive into whether the musical numbers felt effective or forced, and if the chemistry between Phoenix and Gaga resonated with me—or fell flat further in my full review.
