A 29 year old Gasparillo man was scheduled to appear virtually at the San Fernando Magistrates' Court today, after being charged with the murder of businessman Anand Maharaj. Leon Apping, of San Fabien Road, Gasparillo, was arrested and charged following a police investigation into the death of the Gasparillo businessman. Maharaj, the owner of Triple A Auto, left his home last Saturday, April 17th, to deliver a rental vehicle to a client and never returned.
