If you get a chance to visit Colorado Springs you must explore Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Red Rock Canyon, and travel down the road to visit Royal Gorge and the Skyline drive. Garden of the Gods is a place you can't describe, you must experience it to appreciate it. It's like trying to describe Yellowstone or Glacier National Park to someone, they can't fully appreciate it until they've been there. Pikes Peak is breath taking, literally, at 14,110 feet, you'll be trying to get as much oxygen as you can with each breath. On a cloudless day, you can see forever (almost). Hope you're not afraid of narrow winding mountain roads 😁😁 Red Rock Canyon is a great place if you enjoy getting outside for some hiking or mountain biking, and don't forget to bring your dog.
