After Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav called PM Modi a "liar" over AIIMS Darbhanga, BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on August 12 lashed out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying that he does not want AIIMS should be made in the district. Sushil Modi said, “Nitish Kumar does not want another AIIMS should be made in Darbhanga, because if it is made its credit will be given to PM Modi...He wants to keep Bihar deprived of development schemes.” Bihar Deputy CM Yadav accused Modi and said, “Today PM Modi said that he has opened AIIMS in Darbhanga. This is a lie. I appeal to PM to first inquire about it and then speak. No AIIMS has been opened in Darbhanga. It is the effort of CM Nitish Kumar that AIIMS will be opened in Darbhanga.
