Las Vegas files thousands of illegal fireworks complaints leading up to July 4th holiday

The Fourth of July holiday is traditionally the busiest night for police and firefighters across the Las Vegas Valley. This year, a multi-agency task force vowed to crack down on illegal fireworks. “If it flies or it blows up, it’s illegal. That is how we know it is illegal,” LVMPD Captain Todd Raybuck told task force members, Wednesday night. The first bust of the night came from a house near Decatur and Desert Inn.
