New piece of John Lennon history unveiled at Liverpool's Beatles Museum | The Guide Liverpool

A new exhibit was unveiled this morning at the Magical Beatles Museum on Mathew Street. The artwork was created by Jonathan Hague who was friends with John Lennon. Figurative artist Jonathan Hague was born in Llandudno in 1938 and became friends with John Lennon when they both studied at Liverpool College of Art. As the Beatles provided the inspiration for and subject matter of a number of Hague’s paintings, Jonathan’s family have decided to display his historic Sgt. Pepper portrait at the Liverpool Beatles Museum.  OUR WEBSITE: http://www.theguideliverpool.com SUBSCRIBE: http://goo.gl/P9CzeM TWITTER: https://goo.gl/I59t58 FACEBOOK: https://goo.gl/eBiiVU INSTAGRAM: https://goo.gl/VskCo5
