6.1.4 Creating indicators [Part 2 of 3]

6.1.4 Creating indicators [Part 2 of 3]

In the previous video, you learned how to create an indicator where the numerator and denominator both contain one data element. In this video, you will learn to create a slightly more complex indicator where the numerator contains two data elements. As you already know, you can add more than one data element in the indicator’s numerator or the denominator using a mathematical operator to form an expression, such as adding them together or subtracting them from one another. Continuing with our RMNCAH data set, we will now create the ANC 1-8 dropout rate indicator. This video is a part of the DHIS2 Fundamentals series of self-paced online courses, offered free of charge, that will provide you with an introduction to DHIS2 principles and terminology, and help you gain an overall understanding of how DHIS2 can be used to collect and analyze aggregate and individual-level data through instructional video presentations, system demonstrations, short quizzes, and hands-on exercises and assignments. To register and start your DHIS2 training journey, go to our Online Academy webpage [https://academy.dhis2.org/]. After successful completion of each DHIS2 Fundamentals course, you will receive a certificate. Completion of DHIS2 Fundamentals courses is a requirement for registration to many of our Level 1 and Level 2 DHIS2 Academies.
