MTA NYCT: 2022 Nova LFS Diesel "Conehead" 8760 Q85, 2018 New Flyer XD40 7766, & C40LF 596 at Jamaica

Shown in this video are three buses traveling up and down Archer Avenue next to the Jamaica Center Parsons-Archer station, served by the (E), (J) and (Z) trains. The first bus seen is a 2022 Novabus LFS Diesel, in the range of buses affectionally titled "Coneheads." Said unit is 8760, (one of the 62 units Jamaica has received to finish their allotment and push it over by two buses), operating on the Q85 to Rochdale Village. Then, a not in service Jamaica 2018 XD40, 7766, is seen running into the heart of the center, likely preparing to be assigned to the Q4, Q5, Q84 or Q85 for an eastbound run. Lastly, an MTA Bus/College Point Depot 2011-13 New Flyer C40LF is seen turning onto Parsons Boulevard on the Q65. The 2022 Conehead delivery is almost complete, with only 16 more units left to be delivered to Casey Stengel. Once it is completed, Nova can focus on the 135 and 173 bus orders for MTA Bus. As for the remaining XD40s at Jamaica, their fate remains to be seen. The C40s will eventually be replaced with future Electric and CNG orders. Taken 6/15/23. Please subscribe and stay blessed!
