Khazan's combat approach is characterized by sheer power and determination, relentlessly seeking triumph by overpowering his foes. Gamers will experience this intensity firsthand in The First Berserker Khazan, engaging in exhilarating, action-filled confrontations as they face formidable adversaries and unleash devastating attacks. Khazan's battle expertise also extends to various weapons and players will be able to experience a wide variety of fighting styles that highlight the strengths of each weapon such as Dual Wield, Greatswords, and Spears. Since Khazan is known to be a great general, one of the highlights that the developers have mentioned is that they have steered away from evasive movements that would make the protagonist perform a roll on the ground. Instead, they focused on making Khazan's movements powerfully built and his attacks sharp and precise. As players embark on Khazan's adventure, they will meet a variety of characters, each with their distinct traits and qualities. Among them is the enigmatic Blade Phantom, who bestows new abilities upon Khazan. As the narrative progresses, players will observe the deepening bond between Khazan and the Blade Phantom, a connection that propels him further along the path to becoming a berserker. Khazan made his debut as an antagonist in the Ozma raid storyline of Dungeon Fighter Online, where players aimed to defeat him alongside Ozma. Unlike the original narrative, where he faced exile and was supposedly lost in an avalanche, this reimagining explores a different angle. It delves into the intriguing concept of "What if Khazan had managed to survive?" revealing that he is far more complex than merely a villain. The original tale centered around Ozma, but this reimagined version shifts the focus to Khazan, offering devoted fans a new viewpoint while inviting newcomers in with its captivating theme of revenge. As Khazan embarks on his quest for vengeance, players will discover fresh insights and face choices that will influence his adventure. The decisions made will lead to varied outcomes, ensuring that Khazan's conclusion is uniquely shaped by the paths players choose. Just like any other souls-like game, The First Berserker Khazan features the basics of a health bar, stamina management, access to consumables such as healing items known as “Netherworld Energy”, and basic maneuvers of light, heavy, and charged heavy attacks. The core mechanic of combat revolves around exhaustion. When you strike your enemies, you not only chip away at their health but also their stamina. Once their stamina runs out, they become exhausted or fatigued, creating an opportunity for you to unleash some free hits and execute a “Brutal Attack,” which not only inflicts significant damage but also replenishes your stamina. Keep in mind, though, that enemy strikes can also deplete your stamina. And if you find yourself low on stamina and take a hit, you’ll be left exhausted for a brief moment. To achieve victory in battle, players need to keenly observe and react to the distinct behaviors and movements of various enemies and bosses throughout the game. They have the option to take advantage of openings, defend against lethal attacks, or swiftly dodge when the situation calls for it. The game will also showcase gratifying actions like accurate guarding and nimble dodging. Employing preemptive strikes is crucial, as it serves as a strategic approach to gain an advantage over formidable foes. Khazan, a formidable warrior with a barbarian's prowess, is adept at wielding a range of weapons, enabling players to explore diverse combat styles that highlight the strengths of each weapon.
