MTA NYCT Bus: 2015 NovaBus LFS SmartBus #8324 on the M20

Taken October 20th, 2021 Seen here in this video is a 2015 NovaBus LFS SmartBus #8324 on the M20. The reasons the NovaBus LFS SmartBus buses are at Michael J. Quill (MQ) Depot is because of the incident involving the 2020-2021 NovaBus LFS HEV SmartBus. The plug doors which are basically the new widespread doors for extra room exiting the bus automatically opened while the bus was in motion causing all of the NovaBus LFS HEV SmartBus to go all over the place. These buses basically went to Eastchester Depot, 126th Street Depot and many more to store these buses meanwhile they figure out the actual reason why this is happening. Matter in fact this problem with the doors on these buses has been happening since April or earlier from a video I saw so this incident basically made MTA take immediate action with these buses. This cause shortages in Manhattan Depots mainly so extra Orion 7 Next Generation Hybrids came from Brooklyn,Queens and Bronx to help out and make sure the shortage is not the problem for now. They even sent some Orion 7 Gen 2+ Hybrids back to Tuskegee (OH) Depot. They're basically back on the M31 and possibly if this issue isn't solved by winter time M101,M102 & M103. To summarize this the NovaBus LFS SmartBus HEV and the 2021-2022 NovaBus LFS SmartBus that are already built will be on hold sitting until this issue is fixed so expect no deliveries for these buses temporarily but in the meantime you can enjoy the 2021-2022 New Flyer XDE40 coming in for delivery. Enjoy The Video!
