"I ran Away from FGM" Sylvia's Story

Sylvia lives at the Tasaru Rescue Center in Narok, Kenya with 60 other girls. Like most girls at the Center, Sylvia ran away from her home as a young child to escape Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and forced marriage. The Tasaru Ntomonok Initiative is one of five formidable African frontline anti-FGM organizations supported by The Efua Dorkenoo Fund to End FGM. This Fund to end FGM is a project of Donor Direct Action Fund for Women. To support the FGM Fund visit: www.donordirectaction.org/FGMFund
