Egypt Travel Vlog: Temple of Hathor at Dendera, Zodiac Signs, Origin of Resurrection Story

Hey Hey Heyyyyy Y’all, Today we going somewhere many people leave OFF of their itinerary. We are EXPLORING the beautiful Temple of Goddess Het Heru (known commonly as Goddess Hathor) at Dendera We are able to see a birthing house outside of the actual temple along with some cool structures of TWA (represents rebirth), HATHOR, and some other structures. We then move along the outside of the temple to get a closer look at THE BOOKS IN STONE. We see where some enemies blew a hole in HATHOR’S FACE. There are even stories of CLEOPATRA on these walls. And one of my favorites being able to see my LOC’D ANCESTORS and get some great profile shots. This trip gets EVEN BETTER when we venture INSIDE THE TEMPLE. We see the ZODIAC SIGNS painted on the ceiling and what made this crazy is that they use the EXACT SAME ZODIAC SYMBOLS WE USE TODAY. We continue along this amazing architecture up an interesting, winding stairway where you can see high priests among the GODS, GODDESSES, AND KINGS. We take a break on the roof before heading inside to see the RESURRECTION OF ASAR BECOMING ASARU and another breakdown of the zodiac signs before heading back down the temple. This temple was an experience I DIDN’T KNOW I NEEDED and I know you will love it JUST AS MUCH!
